Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On?!!?

  1. Cuspid says:

Although I love the idea of Benzedrine Monks singing a song called Losing My Religion, what they ultimately did was lose my interest along the way. I also found Dolapdere Big Gang’s version to be a bit boring. So Anouk, with her nice voice, wins by default. But what really amazes me is that she’s got over 1.6 million views on YouTube for this cover. I know she’s huge in Europe. They obviously hear something that I don’t.

  2. Arnold Plotnick says:

I really didn’t like any of the covers. In a rare instance of total disagreement with Cuspid, I really disliked Anouk’s version. The Benzedrine Monks version is really just a novelty. I picked Dolapdere Big Gang for this one, but really, it was meh. I didn’t like REM’s live version on here, either. Maybe I’m just cranky.

  3. RDubbs says:

I voted for Anouk. I did not care for her opening vocals but her voice seemed to come more alive as the song went along.
