Richie always manages to toss in a ska version, and I nearly always not choose it as the winner, as I think that in most cases, just because you can ska-ify a song it doesn’t mean that you should. I liked Face to Face’s amped up Ramonesy take on the song, and I like how Yellow Scab’s singer shouts the lyrics in an impossibly high register, but this song really DOES lend itself to being ska-ified, so I picked the SKAndalous Allstars.

Yellow Scab very nearly stole this one but Face to Face pulled ahead in the last ten seconds of it’s offering. As usual the SKAndalous All-Stars knocked out an excellent cover. But I liked Face to Face and Yellow Scab’s versions more.
