Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On?!!?

  1. Kerry Black says:

The Hagfish version was too similar to the original.

Ukulele Orchestra was a semi-interesting novelty, but a novelty nonetheless.

The inclusion of Platinum Paddies w/ The Rabbi was a cynical attempt to curry favor with Irish and Jewish constituents angered by yesterday’s ill-advised attempt to go to the well one too many times with “Royals”.

I see big Mike Geier has over fifteen million views for that video now.

  2. Arnold Plotnick says:

I like the Undertones. Loved their first album, especially. Saw them open for The Clash at the Palladium in 1979 (at the concert where the photo for the album London Calling, where Paul is throttling his bass, was taken). This particular song is meh, though. They have many better songs. I expected the ukelele version to be cheesy, but they ended up rocking out better than any of the other covers.
