“Free markets will not prevail without unfettered competition among cover songs.” – Milton Friedbyrd
Friends, Contributors, Audiophiles, lend me your ears … Can’t really hear this tune without picturing the greatly misunderstood, sentimental dreamer, Frank Booth.
CMI tip of the day: If on a tranquil Spring day you should come across a displaced ear then … Run, Run, Run, Run … Run, Run Away … Qu’est-ce que c’est?

Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On?!!?
Disclaimer: Votes cast from Florida may or may not be counted.
Springsteen is great, but this version appears to be a light-hearted impromptu offering, probably part of an encore.
Otway has done some creative and unpredictable work, and I was surprised he rocked this so hard.
But my vote went to Arrica Rose.
Arrica Rose is Best
I agree completely with Kerry. Springsteen is going to do a good version, of course. At this point in his career, he could sing the telephone book and it would be pretty decent. But Arrica Rose, whoever the hell she is, does a great version here. Otway’s version rocks, but Arrica Rose croons it the way it’s supposed to be crooned.
