Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On?!!?

I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of ska. As a tie-breaker I’m going with the Porkers because their’s is the first version of this song I ever heard where I was able to understand the lyrics being sung by the lead singer.
I’m with ya there, Dougie. A really well-played ska tune sounds as fresh to me today as back in the days of Van-Skanking at 70 mph!
All three versions are very well performed. My preference in order: The Ordinary Boys (probably because they let an old codger like me perform with them on stage), The Porkers and Nova Social.
I think I’ve grown tired of ska. I like Nova Social’s version. It’s very different. I think it shows that a good song can really transcend genre and style, and this is a mighty fine song.
