Broc 3 - Cover Me Impressed

Everybody’s Dressin’ Funny … Cover Me Impressed!

“Lying is second nature to him. More than anyone else I have ever met, Trump has the ability to convince himself that whatever he is saying at any given moment is true, sort of true, or at least ought to be true. It’s impossible to keep him focused on any topic. I feel a deep sense of remorse that I contributed to presenting Trump in a way that brought him wider attention and made him more appealing than he is. I genuinely believe that if Trump wins and gets the nuclear codes, there is an excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization.”

Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter of Trump’s “Art of the Deal”

Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On?!!?

In general I think this song is kind of boring. But I found Release the Sunbird’s rendition quite pleasant. They get my vote.

  2. RDubbs says:

I found so many great covers of this song that I had a tough time paring down to three contestants.

All three are excellent. The Dark Horses’ cover was my early favorite. I love their opening and overall creativity. Release the Sunbird’s version was pitch-perfect and easily could have had my vote. But, although the sound quality was at times suspect and their performance was a bit rough, i gave my vote to SixNationState. Their version was formidable and they clearly were having a lot of fun playing it.
